This documentary follows the NTA(National Teachers Academy),which is a top ranked school in Chicago, with a thriving population of mostly low income and black students. When the neighborhood grows and gentrifies, a parents group eager for their own high school seeks to close NTA and replace it with a high school campus.

One of the absolute coolest things about running this podcast is that on occasion, I get a chance to talk to the people involved with the films I'm reviewing.
