Since we're on the eve of Barbieheimer, why not celebrate one of the first documentaries to really shine a light on the cultural impact of Barbie?
I had a chance to speak with writer, producer, and director Susan Stern about why she made this documentary, the challenges she faced in doing so, and if Barbie itself has done more harm for beauty standards than good.

Since Reno celebrates Pride in July, I'm going to try and get a few more pride reviews done before we hit August, but this is a review of a 2022 film that was HORIRBLY slept on. It's a damn shame because Gabrielle Union gives the performance of her career, Jeremy Pope is a young person who is on the come up, and Elegance Bratton is a director truly to keep an eye out on.
I don't even want to tell you too much of a synopsis on this film outside of Jeremy Pope plays a young man who joins the service to make something of himself, but please go into this movie as blind as possible.

I really hate that Sony is going to continue with this facade of "we can make villain movies without Spider-Man, and make them work......you'll see.
Dear Sony, NO ONE GIVES A YOU KNOW WHAT ABOUT A KRAVEN THE HUNTER MOVIE WITHOUT SPIDER-MAN, no one cares about a Madame Webb movie........if y'all had anyone intelligent working in the live action department you'd have a Silk or Spider-Woman movie made by now.
But no, you're going to keep torturing us with these films.
Also, the person who wrote this wrote Uncharted, so consider me incredibly concerned.
Needless to say, I'm not Kraven this movie......and I'm not.....lion.
